By Rail: Travel to Southampton Central. This is the main route from Waterloo, Winchester & Cardiff. Exit station left on Platform 4 which is nearest Dock Gate 10 and take a taxi to Terminal. No public buses run to the Terminal.
By Road:
Via M27: Exit M27 at Junction 3. Take the M271 exit, at the roundabout take the first exit A35, stay in the inside lane towards the Millbrook Roundabout. Take the 4th exit, turning right into Dock Gate 20. Turn left and follow road to the Terminal.
Via M3: Follow Junction signed for M27 West towards J4 and follow directions as above on the M27.
From City Centre: Drive along West Quay Road and turn left into Dock Gate 10. Turn right around the roundabout, follow road to next roundabout by railway crossing, go straight over and follow road to next roundabout and take the second exit. Drive to the end of the road which is a T junction and then turn left into the Terminal and park.
Security is important at SCT to ensure the safety of our employees and visitors.
When visiting the terminal there are some important points to remember:-
- Please ensure you notify a representative of SCT when you will be visiting.
- When visiting SCT please ensure you bring with you an official source of
photographic ID, such as a passport or driving licence.
- You may be asked to participate in a personal search
- You will be issued with a site pass by Security at SCT Reception, please ensure
you wear this pass at all times while at SCT. You may be asked to show your
pass at various points around the terminal. This pass needs to be returned to
SCT Reception when leaving the terminal.
There is a strict ‘no smoking’ policy in effect at SCT. However there are smoking
shelters situated at various points around the terminal. The map opposite
highlights the position of the shelter near the reception building. If you wish to
smoke please ask your SCT Representative to show you where the most
appropriate shelter is situated.
