Southampton Container Terminals make a commitment to quality in every aspect of our terminal operations. To this end, we have implemented a fully documented Quality Management System, covering business areas which have an impact on satisfying our customers’ requirements.
The Quality Management System, implemented over many years, is accredited to International Standard BS EN ISO 9001:2000 assuring our customers of a more efficient, timely and cost effective way of working. The system is assessed and approved by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Ltd (LRQA).
Our commitment to quality is laid down in the company’s Quality Policy Statement, and all staff members are aware of their own personal contribution to the overall terminal operation.
Customers' requirements change and so do the systems and technologies used to achieve them. That is why the standards we employ to evaluate our working processes are in a state of continuous evolution and improvement.
